The Lowrider has been in the family for seven and a half years now.
The Ninja for the same.
And the Ultra Limited for four.
Between them I’ve ridden over 50,000 miles, heavily split between the Limited and the Lowrider. And almost all of it solo.
Yes, the wife tried to ride on the Ultra with me, but she ran out of trust after a couple of rides. And I prefer the Lowrider anyway.
So I was dumbfounded when I found a riding companion; someone that had been living with use for years; someone that was so sad when I headed out to ride, leaving her behind.
Sandy is a five year old Yorkie… and she loves to ride. Once I learned she didn’t mind riding on the bike, she started going everywhere - staying home only if the weather was too cold or raining. She even has her own personal motorcycle bag that affords her room and comfort.
She is my sidekick.
