It’s been a long time since I’ve published anything relative to riding. Blogs come and go and it’s difficult to keep the interest - especially when you can just open an app on your phone and post pictures and videos immediately and notifications pop up on your “friends” devices telling them that you’ve added another new thing to the timeline.
Eh ... all good I suppose. But there is something to be said for slowing down and contemplating before posting. And that’s why I will continue the blog - for a while anyway.
So - today some of the Drew’s Crew folks took a short trip around Maryland and ended up at the the Famous Hot Weiner lunch spot in Hanover, PA. I took the Ultra Limited - had to dig it out of the garage first. Haven’t ridden her much since the Labor Day trip to Ohio and she liked stretching her legs. A brisk pace on some curvy back roads really warmed her new rear tire up.
Tomorrow we head for Gettysburg. A normally 80 mile, 90 minute trip will take us over 5 hours and cover almost 300 miles.
Can’t wait.
