2008 Harley Davidson Dyna Low Ride
105th Anniversary Edition
About a quarter-century ago, I used to ride motorcycles. Some were slow (think Honda Dream) and some were fast (think Kawasaki Mach III). All were fun and the desire to ride has never abated.
But time has a way of disappearing. Before I knew it, I was married, working and traveling. Then came the Kid. Even though I've often mentioned wanting to get another bike, we just never seemed to have the time.
When the Kid called me from his college campus and wanted to know if taking a college Motorcycle Rider's Safety class would be a good idea - he had a free elective and was looking for something 'fun' - I practically yelled loud enough for him to hear me without the phone " Hell yes!"
For Father's Day of '08, my wife and son gave me seat in a safety class of my own. In July, my wife bought my son and I new motorcycles.
He got a Kawasaki Ninja 650R.
I got the Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider. My first Harley.
This is a place to tell about those bikes.
And our (re-)entry into motorcycle riding.
Harley. It's a Lifestyle.
